Hello Class 2,

 We hope that you have all had a lovely weekend.  This week we are continuing with our castles topic.  We didn't hear from many of you last week, probably because the very hot weather made it hard to work! 
Here is your work for Monday, we are going to learn about how castles were attacked and what types of defence they used against their enemies.
This term our value focus is resilience.  We know from talking to you on the phone and at school that you have been showing resilience in lots of ways.  You may like to watch this story which shows resilience Giraffe's Can't Dance.  Why don't you check in on Harold the giraffe as well by reading his Daily Diary and trying some of the activities he has been doing during lockdown?

Hello Class 2, 🙂 Here are some activities for anyone who is at home this week. We will add some more activities on Wednesday.  Monday 18th October English - Poetry 🦉🐱 Today we would like you to have a go at performing part of the poem The Owl and the Pussy Cat by Edward Lear. Begin by watching this  video  recording (which we have looked at at school) and then have a look at the  poem . Choose a verse or a few lines to read. Think about how you could perform the poem - could you use some actions or different voices?
