Hello Class 2, Today is your final day of on line learning! We have really missed you since March but we have loved seeing your photos and chatting to you on the phone.  If you haven't been in touch for a while we would love to hear from you this week.  Hopefully we will see lots of you in school tomorrow morning.  Remember to bring in a strong bag to take your books home and to bring in any reading books you have at home which belong in school. Also, we are still missing Wilson Bear!  We are very sad to have lost him and would be extremely grateful for his safe return to school. Here is your work for  Wednesday Have a good last day! Art Exhibition Competition

Exciting News! How would you like to see your work in a  real life exhibition ?  Well now is your chance.   Gloucester Museum  are running a competition ( with prizes ) on the theme of  Life In Lockdown .  You can draw, paint, make a collage or create a video to show how you will remember your time in lockdown in the future.  You can think about the good things and the not so good things you have experienced, new skills you have learnt, ways you have adapted.  It would be absolutely fantastic to have work from Holy Apostles in the exhibition.  Here is the link to the letter that has been sent out today with further details of  how to enter .  Don't forget to send us a copy of your entries too.  Even if you aren't selected, we can have our own lockdown memories exhibition in school.  Go on, get creative!  Good Luck.

Here is your work for  Monday .  If you would like to join in with assembly today, watch this video about loving your neighbour. Today's story is called  Ruby's Worry . Tuesday 14th July

Hello Class 2 Did you enjoy thinking about all of the activities you have done this year?  We wonder what you feel your strengths and targets are now.  Today's maths work is telling the time .  It has been a while since we practised this, so there are lots of different activities to choose from depending on how well you remember, we don't expect you to complete them all today!  Some children find it really easy to tell the time and others take a little longer, so persevere and try and challenge yourself to get better.  It's a good skill to practise over the holidays too. Here is your work for Tuesday . Today's story is called  The Pea and the Princess . Have a super day! From Mrs Riegler & Mrs Bedwell

Virtual Sports Day

Dear Parents, Normally at the end of the year, we would spend a day all together out on the field, taking part in our School Sports Day. We may not be able to do that this year, but it doesn't mean we can't have some sports day fun. Instead, this year we will be having a Virtual Sports Day. There are 5 challenges for you to complete to win house points for your house. For all the details, please click  here  The competition starts now!  You have until Wednesday 16th July to get your scores in. Please email them to the schools Admin email account, with the Subject ' Virtual Sports Day' and your name child's name and year. Winners will be announced on Friday 18th July, along with the winning house! Good luck! Mrs Prescott
