Art Exhibition Competition

Exciting News!
How would you like to see your work in a real life exhibition?  Well now is your chance.  Gloucester Museum are running a competition (with prizes) on the theme of Life In Lockdown.  You can draw, paint, make a collage or create a video to show how you will remember your time in lockdown in the future.  You can think about the good things and the not so good things you have experienced, new skills you have learnt, ways you have adapted.  It would be absolutely fantastic to have work from Holy Apostles in the exhibition.  Here is the link to the letter that has been sent out today with further details of how to enter.  Don't forget to send us a copy of your entries too.  Even if you aren't selected, we can have our own lockdown memories exhibition in school.  Go on, get creative!  Good Luck.

Dear Parents, Normally at the end of the year, we would spend a day all together out on the field, taking part in our School Sports Day. We may not be able to do that this year, but it doesn't mean we can't have some sports day fun. Instead, this year we will be having a Virtual Sports Day. Hello Class 2, 🙂 Here are some activities for anyone who is at home this week. We will add some more activities on Wednesday.  Monday 18th October English - Poetry 🦉🐱 Today we would like you to have a go at performing part of the poem The Owl and the Pussy Cat by Edward Lear. Begin by watching this  video  recording (which we have looked at at school) and then have a look at the  poem . Choose a verse or a few lines to read. Think about how you could perform the poem - could you use some actions or different voices?
