Friday 1st May

Hello everyone,  Did you enjoy the Magic Grandad film yesterday? What a funny place to keep your cheese! Thursday 30th April

Hello Class 2, What's happened to the sunshine? I think the gardens will be glad of some rain though after all that hot sunshine we had.  We hope you enjoyed yesterday's activities and learnt some more about the great fire of London. Here is your work for  Thursday 30th April We would love to see how your Great Fire of London double page is taking shape in your home learning book so please send in any photos of your work you would like to show us or share with your classmates on the blog! Anna has been busy with the lots of the activities we have been sending you. It is lovely to see your smiley face enjoying working from home, Anna! Here she is working on her dragon drawing... And making porridge...   And carrot salad...yummy! Well done, Anna.  Keep up the great work!  Betsie has also been working hard this morning but is now relaxing in the sun with a good book - that's great to see!  I love your chair swing, Betsie, it looks so comfy! Good morning Year 2, How is everyone this morning? We hope you enjoyed finding out about St George and the Dragon yesterday. What did you find out about the Great Fire of London from your music activity? We are looking forward to sharing lots more history activities with you next week on the Great Fire of London as well as the next music activity today. More of Class 2 at work!

Here is Imogen hard at work on the George and the Dragon story this morning. I'm glad you enjoyed the story today, Imogen! Thomas and Harry made burgers with their Daddy yesterday for a BBQ - what a great idea, boys!  It has been great weather for BBQs, I think I could smell it from my house!! Sam has also been busy working through the Year 2 activities and has designed a postcard from Cheltenham. Mum says there will be pictures to follow! Fantastic work, everyone! Keep them coming!

Make A Bug Hotel!

Hello Class 2, During the Easter break Freddie and his sister helped out on their allotment.  One of the activities they did was to build a bug hotel! Great work you guys! Hello everyone, We hope you have been having some fun doing Easter activities this week and been able to get out and enjoy the lovely sunshine we have been having! We are missing you very all much and have really appreciated messages and photos to let us know how you are getting on! We were in school together yesterday so wanted to send you a picture from our very sunny field covered in daisies at the moment. (Note to parents, sunglasses are to try and hide the fact we haven't been at the hairdressers for a while now!!) Happy Friday Class 2! Here are your activities for today. Friday's Activities This week our Open the Book friends have the next story 'Down Through The Roof'.  This would be great to watch when you're resting after you have completed the Joe Wicks workout! https://youtu.be/28va_bzfKic We hope you have enjoyed some of the activities you have been doing over the last two weeks.  The Easter holidays are a bit unusual this year, but we hope that the suggestions for activities you could do at home that you will receive from school keep you busy.  Make sure you keep reading, write emails or letters or postcards to your friends and family (maybe even one to us at school), practice your 2, 5 and 10 times tables and stay active and curious!
