Class 2 achievements this week

Have a look at all the great things that have been going on in Class 2 at home this week...

 Florence has completed her 100 mile cycle challenge that she has been working towards in April and May raising money for the NHS. 

Here are her awards that she has been given to thank her for her fantastic effort! 
I hear that she is not giving up yet though and is now working towards the next 100 miles!

 Florence has also enjoyed doing her scrap book this week.

 Charlie P created a Handwashing Poster using his computer at home, here it is. Well done!
Catherine also made her own Clean Hands poster at home, great work!
Betsie drew her own interpretation of Coronavirus, here it is!

Olly and Charlie P have also had a birthday this week. 


Thank you to all of you who have sent in your letter to your new Care Home friend! You have written some lovely thoughtful letters with excellent spelling, punctuation and neat handwriting, well done!
We are looking forward to reading some more of them soon before we pass them on to the Care Home residents.

 Dear Class 2, Hope you're all having a great Half-Term! Sorry we missed our last day together but hopefully you enjoyed a day off as you deserved a treat after working so hard during the week on your assessments. Thank you to Flora who came and got the one lot of snails to look after, I have been in and fed the others and Lilly, you can look after them at Easter. Just to let parents know we will be doing some more practice papers for KS1 SATs in preparation for the SATs in May. It is nothing to worry about and we will talk about this a bit more a parents evening. Some of the homework set will be also used to help the children practice and become more confident when taking the tests. During Healthy Living Week we won't be cooking in Class 2 as we will  just be beginning our DT topic on Healthy Eating and in few weeks time we will be making a pasta salad.
