Tuesday 7th July

Hello Class 2, We hope that you enjoyed practising your spellings and arithmetic yesterday.  How many continents and oceans can you name now?  Did you make a hope balloon?  If you look on our well-being blog there are some great songs to listen to which talk about hope and positive feelings. Today we are revising a different spelling pattern and working through some more number and place value questions in maths.   Here is your work for  Tuesday . Hello Class 2, We hope you have had a lovely weekend.   You may like to start your day with an assembly  all about hope.  After you have watched the assembly why not make your own hope balloon and send us a picture of it? For the last two weeks of term we are going to focus on our spelling, reading and maths skills, as well as some geography and PSHE activities.  This week we have a series of quizzes (which we would have done in school) for you to have a go at.  Let us know how you get on. More castles work

Harry enjoyed finding out about Neuschwanstein castle in Germany. Did you know the word for castle in German is 'schloss'?  Oliver has been working hard finding out about the jobs people did in the castle.    He was very excited to find out that his Mummy's family had their very own coat of arms! Here it is! Thomas found out lots of facts about Hohenzollern castle in Germany.   Harry and Thomas remembered that they had been to Sudeley Castle before and had tried on armour. Here they are! They have also visited some castles in France. Can you find out what the French word is for a castle?  Oscar chose Sudeley castle to find out about - here are his top ten facts! Sam has made a Stop Motion Movie with two knights jousting. We love the way he improvised using cows and tin foil! We can't show it to you on here but here a few still shots from the movie.
